Version 4...?

November 8th, 2008

Well, I'm officially launching my new site design today. I doubt many people will notice though, as I never really updated the previous page. I figured the "Life in the Dominican Republic" page stood on its own, reflecting my two years of Peace Corps experience. Now that I'm back in the U.S.S.A., I'm going to change things up a bit. The Life in the DR blog can still be found here and it will remain "quick linked" over there on the left side for anybody interested.

Unfortunately, now that I'm back I have little of interest to write about. I've become a working stiff at Columbia College's IT Department designing automated workflows and web forms. I suppose that's the way things go, though the job really isn't all that bad. I don't get stuck doing the same thing day in and day out so coming into work is never much of a drag. I've been honing my techie credentials which never hurts.

As usual, comments and suggestions about the site are appreciated. I'm working on the Archives section and plan to add a few things (pictures, etc.) in the near future. I'm also working on a porfolio for a possible freelance web design whatever you call it. I'll try to check back in soon. Lord knows I hate blogging.

Stay warm.
